From the moment you step inside, you'll be enveloped by the warm, welcoming atmosphere that blends modern sophistication with traditional Indian hospitality.

The ambiance of The Moghul Room immediately sets it apart from other dining spots in the area. The elegant decor, inspired by Mughal architecture, transports you to a different era while offering the comforts of contemporary style. The menu features a wide variety of traditional Indian favorites, each prepared with the finest ingredients. The chefs at The Moghul Room use authentic spices and herbs, ensuring every dish is bursting with flavor. The menu includes a range of vegetarian, vegan, and meat-based options, so there’s something for everyone. One standout dish is the butter chicken, rich and creamy with just the right amount of spice, paired perfectly with naan or steamed rice.

A favorite appetizer at the restaurant is the samosa, crispy on the outside and filled with a savory mix of potatoes and spices. The flavor profile is a delicious mix of crunchy and tender, offering a satisfying start to your meal. If you prefer seafood, the tandoori prawns are a must-try; they're marinated in a rich blend of yogurt and spices before being cooked to perfection in the tandoor oven. Every bite is succulent and full of flavor.

For those with a sweet tooth, The Moghul Room doesn’t disappoint. The restaurant serves traditional Indian desserts like gulab jamun and kulfi, both rich and indulgent. The gulab jamun, soft and syrup-soaked, is the perfect way to end a meal. • The staff and atmosphere of the dinner was beautiful. When I was cold they gave me a blanket and we sat right next to the pyramids view. I ordered the shrimp pasta and a Collin’s cocktail. I would recommended it to everyone!

  • DONT SLEEP ON THIS RESTAURANT. This Restaurant was excellent! The staff from the moment you arrive made you feel so welcome. The chef personally came by to check on our table and we could barely give him is praises the food was so good. It is definitely a stop you should make if your staying at Mena House. Beautiful menu and flavours. Not to mention the interiors and the views! Stunning. Thank you to our server Mohammed, the lady with glasses ( I forget your name) you made our experience excellent offering the best view in the house and the chef, beautiful food.

  • This was quite possibly my most enjoyable meal in Cairo. Yes, it's just plain good ol' Indian cuisine, but it's done extremely well. I could not fault the dahl makhani, nor the dum biryani, succulent okra, or the savoury chicken kurma. But the highlight, naturally, was the epic view of the great pyramids at night. Simply breathtaking. Great place to sit down and enjoy the balmy Cairo night.

  • Dinner right in front of the Pyramids! What more can one ask for. After few days in Cairo was craving some Indian food and visited this restaurant because of recommendation from a friend. Drove all the way from Cairo and let me tell you it was all worth it. Restaurant aside the hotel itself is gorgeous with beautiful courtyard and of course views of pyramid. The restaurant itself has intimate setting with dim lighting and again views. We ordered fews apps and main course. Malai murgh chicken and prawn tikka are must order. shoutout to chef Manoj who paid special attention to our preferences and modified the dish. And lastly special shoutout to the helper Mohammed for his above an beyond services.
